Crossroads Area Dental Conference set at VC

A Crossroads Area Dental Conference will be from 7:45 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Aug. 8 in Room 131 of the Health Sciences Center on Victoria College's main campus.
The deadline to register is Aug. 6.
The purpose of this conference is to improve the quality of dental health by increasing the knowledge and skills of dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants. Topics will include nutrition and health, diabetes and disordered breathing related to dental health.
Dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and others interested in health care are encouraged to attend the daylong conference.
Presenters will be:• Robbyn Michalka, Victoria Region director of Texas Pecan Valley Area Health Education Center-East
• Hilda Ramirez, certified diabetes educator, insulin pump educator and staff registered nurse at Post Acute Medical
• Dr. Martin Denbar, currently practicing in Austin specializing in dental sleep medicine
The registration fee is $60 and includes instructional materials and lunch.
