Lauren Atkinson and Keith Kieschnick, both of Corpus Christi, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on April 12, 2014 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville. Deacon John Joiner and Father James Stembler of Kingsville officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Wesley and Tammy Atkinson of Edna and LaWanda and Jim McCormick of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Gordon and Anna Roades of Edna and Ruth Corbitt of Edna.
The groom is the son of Bruce and Susan Kieschnick of Bay City. He is the grandson of Leroy and Belle Kieschnick of Bishop and Mary Sullivan and the late Edward Sullivan of Bay City.
Lindsey Steffek of Inez attended as maid of honor. Britney Bone of San Antonio was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Meghan Fowler of Edna, Christina Kieschnick of Corpus Christi, Chelsey Reeder of Victoria, Jessica Labeff of Ganado, Kendall Hajorsky of Corpus Christi and Sarah Atkinson of Corpus Christi. Summer Anderson of Bellville attended as a flower girl.
Brandt Kieschnick of Huntsville and Jason Williams of Bay City served as best men. Groomsmen were Brandon Brandt of Rosharon, Collin Nelson of Frisco, Mike Ortega of San Antonio, Luke Labeff of Ganado, Buzzy Wendtland of Richmond and Grady Atkinson of Corpus Christi. Paxton and Preston Kieschnick of Huntsville were ring bearers.
Ushers were Conley Atkinson of Edna and Collin Stubbs of Austin.
A reception followed the ceremony at The Courtyard at Gaslight Square. The couple will spend two nights in Miami, Florida and four nights in St. Lucia on a Sandals Resort by the water. They plan to reside in Corpus Christi.
The bride graduated from UTHSCSA in 2012 where she received her bachelors in nursing. She is employed at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi.
The groom graduated from Kingsville A&M in 2011 with a bachelors in accounting. He is currently employed as a manger at Fastenal in Kingsville."
