Arrested

VICTORIA - Kenneth Allen Ortiz, 49, of North Dakota, by deputies Thursday on a warrant charging him with driving while intoxicated with three or more previous convictions.

VICTORIA - A 40-year-old Victoria man by officers Thursday on suspicion of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.

VICTORIA - A 21-year-old Victoria man by deputies Thursday on suspicion of possession of marijuana and a Class C misdemeanor.

VICTORIA - A 26-year-old Victoria man by officers Thursday on suspicion of assaulting a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation.

VICTORIA - Michael Andrew Murillo Jr., 24, of Victoria, by deputies Thursday on a warrant charging him with a Class C misdemeanor and on a warrant charging him with violation of probation in a possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone case.

VICTORIA - Melissa Ann Ordonez, 39, of Victoria, by deputies Thursday on a warrant charging her with violation of probation in a driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of more than or equal to .15 percent case.

VICTORIA - A 40-year-old Victoria man by officers Thursday on suspicion of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.

Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 24-year-old Victoria woman with a deadly weapon at a home in the 1500 block of Navidad Street on Wednesday.

VICTORIA - A 21-year-old Victoria man with bodily injury at a bar or night club in the 7100 block of North Navarro Street on Friday.

Robbed

VICTORIA - A 62-year-old Victoria woman of $280 cash while in the 500 block of East San Antonio Street on Wednesday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 3400 block of U.S. Highway 59 North on Wednesday. Diesel fuel valued at $375 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - Mitchell Glass Co. in the 400 block of West Constitution Street on Tuesday. A six-pack of Miller Lite beer valued at $15 was reported missing. Damage to the office's window and door was estimated at $150.

VICTORIA - An Inspection Spot vehicle at a parking lot in the 2800 block of Houston Highway on Tuesday. A stereo receiver valued at $250 was reported missing. Damage to the vehicle's window was estimated at $70.

VICTORIA - A home in the 500 block of Bedivere Drive on Wednesday. A generator valued at $700 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 600 block of Bedivere Drive on Thursday. A weed eater and leaf blower valued at $370 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 100 block of North Moody Street on Wednesday. Prescription drugs valued at $20 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 300 block of Monterey Drive on Wednesday. A 9 mm flashlight, Apple iPod and radar detector valued at $1,180 were reported missing.

Stolen

VICTORIA - A purse and contents valued at $60 from a home in the 100 block of Rosewood Drive on Monday.

VICTORIA - A motorcycle valued at $9,250 from a parking lot in the 5500 block of North Navarro Street on Monday. Damage to a concrete barrier estimated at $1,500 also was reported.

VICTORIA - A purse and contents valued at $335 from a home in the 1200 block of South Laurent Street on Tuesday.

VICTORIA - A bicycle valued at $65 from a road in the 100 block of South Ben Jordan Street.

VICTORIA - A cellphone valued at $300 in the 500 block of Dundee Street on Friday.

Damaged

VICTORIA - Right body panels, rear fender and paint of a 2011 Ford F350 in the 5100 block of Lilac Lane on Thursday. Damage was estimated at $6,000.

VICTORIA - A Sparkman Industries truck in the 100 block of Aviation Drive on May 30. The truck was hit by another vehicle that left the scene. Damage was not estimated.

VICTORIA - Paint on a Chevrolet Camaro in a parking lot in the 4400 block of Halsey Street on Tuesday. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

VICTORIA - A window at Cintas Corp. in the 300 block of South Vine Street on Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $50.

Paula Gail Beckingham, 43, of Floresville, on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, elderly.

Oscar Castillo, 39, of Victoria, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Raymond Clinton Hammer, 44, of Floresville, on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, elderly.

Marcus John Hernandez, 43, of Shiner, on a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury of a family member, enhanced.

Michael Leonard King, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity, enhanced.

Tony David Llanas, 49, of Fentress, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more.

Joseph Vincent Svreck, 57, of La Grange, on a charge of stalking.

Laquita Anquinette Williams, 23, of Weimar, on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument elderly.

Candice Denise Wright, 33, of Schulenburg, on a charge of assault of a public servant.

Ambrose Brosick Wrobleski Jr., 27, of Hallettsville, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Victoria County

VICTORIA - A grand jury returned indictments on the following people May 30:

Lee Moya, also known as Liborio Ramos Moya, 62, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, March 1. He was convicted in 1983 and in 1984 of driving while intoxicated in Victoria County.

Douglas Bryant Hardway, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of sex offender's duty to register with a previous conviction. He is charged with not registering for his conviction of sexual assault of a child within seven days of residing in the county. In 2009, he was convicted of failing to comply with registration requirements in Brown County.

McArthur Deashy Mathis, 20, of Victoria, on a charge of sex offender's duty to register life/annually. He is charged with failing to register for his conviction of indecency with a child within seven days of residing in the county.

Jessica Renee Acosta, 30, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, Nov. 30. She was convicted of driving while intoxicated in 2008 and 2011 in Victoria County.

Daniel Guajardo Delgado, 53, of Houston, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, Jan. 24. He was convicted of driving while intoxicated in 1991 in Jackson County, in 1997 in DeWitt County and in 2007 in Bexar County.

Terry Bruce Bagwell, 44, of Buna, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, Feb. 22. He was convicted of driving while intoxicated in two cases in 1997 in Hardin County.

Christopher James Hernandez, 23, of Victoria, on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm March 20.

Danyal Mae Scoggins, 22, of Dallas, on a charge of theft stolen property between $1,500 and $20,000 from Victoria Police Department Detective Cody Breunig Jan. 31. Scoggins was being questioned by police then during a compelling prostitution investigation. She was not arrested for compelling prostitution.

Elizabeth Marie Alvarez, 35, of Victoria, on a charge of theft of a firearm Feb. 12.

John Anthony Ozuna, 19, of Victoria, on a charge of theft of a firearm Feb. 12.

Albert Aragon, 36, of Victoria, on a charge of having a prohibited substance, cocaine, in a correctional facility, Victoria County Jail, Aug. 17.

Jose Juan Ontiveros, 22, of Bloomington, on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine, less than 1 gram March 19.

Marcus Rene Salazar, 22, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams of cocaine March 22 in a drug-free zone.

Mark Lynn Salazar, 22, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams of cocaine March 22 in a drug-free zone.

Ruben Andres Baldez, 32, of Victoria, on charges of driving while intoxicated third offense or more, possession of marijuana between 2 and 4 ounces in a drug-free zone and fraudulently using or possessing less than five identifying items April 2. Baldez was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Harris County in 2008 and in Victoria County in February. Baldez was also charged in a separate indicted with aggravated perjury. He was charged with stating in court that he did not have a previous felony conviction when he was convicted in 2008 in Harris County of possession of methadone weighing less than 1 gram.

David Allen Clayton, 30, of Bay City, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, Nov. 1 He was convicted of driving while intoxicated in 2000 in Matagorda County and in 2005 in Brazoria County.

Kelly Allen Clevenger, 40, of Victoria, on a charge of theft. He is charged with stealing merchandise from businesses in 12 instances from April 21 to March 31 by writing checks with insufficient funds. The merchandise was valued between $20,000 and $100,000.

Roxanne Rae Valdez, 25, of Placedo, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, between 4 and 200 grams March 15.

Sentenced

VICTORIA - Christina Jomayra Garcia, 24, of Brownsville, to five years probation and 200 hours of community service after she pleaded guilty May 27 to money laundering between $20,000 and $100,000.

VICTORIA - Samuel Garcia, 28, of Victoria, to four years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 27 to possession of marijuana between 4 ounces and 5 pounds.

VICTORIA - Miguel Angel Angel Dominguez, 25, of Victoria, to 10 years probation and 200 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 27 to aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

VICTORIA - Cordero Cortinas, 27, of Victoria, to 7 years probation and 100 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 27 to manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance less than 28 grams in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - Raymond Charles Ramirez, 37, of Victoria, to 10 years probation and 120 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 27 to possession of a controlled substance, greater than 1 gram, in a drug-free zone.

VICTORIA - Ronald Rene Ramirez Jr., 24, of Victoria, to 10 months in state jail after he pleaded guilty May 27 to injury to a child, elderly or disabled person reckless bodily injury.

VICTORIA - Joel Bradley Cook, 36, of Victoria, to five years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded no contest May 27 to assault of a family or household member by impeding their breath or circulation.

VICTORIA - Angelica Maria Cantu, 21, of Nursery, to five years probation and 40 hours of community service after she pleaded guilty May 27 to theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000.

VICTORIA - Johnny Anthony Cervantes, 33, of Victoria, to five years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 27 to credit card or debit card abuse.

VICTORIA - Luke Andrew Bridges, 19, of Victoria, to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty May 27 to burglary of a habitation.

VICTORIA - Mary Louise Villarreal, 47, of Victoria, to six months in state jail after her sentence was amended May 27 for a September 2005 theft charge.

VICTORIA - Dora Alice Zuniga, 27, of Port Lavaca, sanctioned to nine days in jail after her sentence was amended May 29 for a May 2007 assault of a public servant case.

VICTORIA - Jameka Pleshette Barefield, 27, of Victoria, to 18 months in state jail after her sentence was amended May 27 for an August 2008 theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000 case.

VICTORIA - Ian Michael Seran, 32, of Yoakum, to five years probation and 250 hours of community service after his sentence was amended May 27 for a February 2010 assault of a family or household member with a previous conviction case.

VICTORIA - Ann Margaret Candia, 43, of Victoria, sanctioned to a treatment facility after her sentence was amended May 29 for an October 2009 theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000 case.

VICTORIA - Wallace Claude Hall, 54, of Victoria, to two years in state jail after his sentence was amended May 27 for a September 2010 possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram case.

VICTORIA - John Richard Ring, 51, of Victoria, to four years probation and 200 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 28 to manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance less than 1 gram.

VICTORIA - Victor Mota Trevino, 55, of Telferner, to five years probation and 100 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 28 to injury of a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to bodily injure.

VICTORIA - Samuel Rios III, 18, of Victoria, to three years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty May 28 to delivery of marijuana between 1/4 ounce and 5 pounds.

VICTORIA - Sarah Lynn Valdez, 23, of Victoria, continued on probation and sent to a treatment facility after her sentence was amended May 28 for a January 2013 credit card or debit card abuse case.

VICTORIA - Robert Estrada Molina Jr., 29, of Victoria, to 10 years in prison after his probation was revoked May 28 for a March 2008 possession of a controlled substance greater than or about 1 gram in a drug-free zone case.

VICTORIA - Sammy Salinas, 24, of Cuero, sanctioned to 90 days in jail and transferred to a treatment facility after he was continued on probation May 28 for a July 2011 engaging in organized criminal activity case.
