Pasadena woman injured in single-vehicle wreck on U.S. 59

A 60-year-old Pasadena woman was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston on Tuesday after flipping her car several times.

Rosa DelCarmen Vander was traveling north on U.S. Highway 59 just south of County Road 267 when she veered into the median of the highway and flipped her 2005 Dodge Durango several times, landing upside down, according to a crash report filed by the Department of Public Safety.

Vander is in stable condition as of Tuesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
