Thumbs-up to Victoria Electric Co-op for restoring service to more than 550 customers so quickly after the recent traffic accident on Mallette Street.
Thumbs-up and congratulations to the 2014 Southwest Little League Braves who won the Victoria City Championship.
The coaches and boys practiced and worked hard to achieve this reward. Boys, continue to work hard, and you will achieve in life. You're a great group, and you had great coaches.
Thumbs-up to the lady who called about my blue velvet chairs. She thought I had placed them on driveway to be given away. I had a sign for sale on them, but I guess the wind blew it away.
Thumbs-up to Hallettsville's Robert Pohl and his letter-to-the editor emphasizing the importance of fathers in our society. He had some wonderful points. Thanks.
Mary Ann, Victoria
Thumbs-down to the change in the newscast order. I just want Channel 25 to know that I, along with other females, do not want sports before the weather. When the sports comes on, I turn the TV off. Now, I miss the weather.
Thumbs-down to the selfish person who took the brown statue of my angel shepherd canine dog from my front yard in downtown Victoria. Just know that you took it from a cancer patient who is in extreme pain. You also damaged my statue of Jesus on the cross.
Thumbs-down to KAVU news team. I am tired of the news reports at 5 and 10 repeatedly starting as much as two minutes before their scheduled time. This means that any breaking news is already in progress or ending when I switch back to KAVU from watching a program on another channel.
