Trinity Lutheran Church Women meet

Trinity Lutheran Church Women had a bunco gathering in April for area Lutheran Church Women. Guest prizes were awarded, and refreshments were served to 79 members and guests.
The Trinity Lutheran Church quilting and sewing group raffled a handmade quilt. The quilt was won by Loreta Johnson on Mother's Day.
Members have prepared and delivered plates of love meals to shut-in members, have helped with Wednesday Friends with games and refreshments, prepared breakfast for 50 confirmation members and families, and made casseroles for Victoria College and University of Houston-Victoria Campus Ministry.
May 20, the thank offering service was held with a devotion given by the Ruth Circle. There was a salad meal after the service and a meeting after the meal.
Reports were given about donations sent to Lutheran World Relief. Donations included 134 school kits, 110 quilts, 200 personal care kits, eight fabric kits and 23 pounds of soap.
Members made 193 visits to shut-ins, assisted living and nursing homes, 78 hospital visits, sent 85 care cards, 29 care phone calls and 19 cards and contacts with visitors.
