Edna man injured in motorcycle wreck (w/ video)
VICTORIA COUNTY - A 24-year-old Edna man was taken by helicopter to a Corpus Christi hospital after crashing his motorcycle.
Eric Gant was flown to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital with injuries to his mouth and body about 4:30 p.m. Monday when his motorcycle left the roadway while westbound on Farm-to-Market Road 237 near Hester Road, Department of Public Safety Trooper James Vinson said. Gant was not wearing a helmet.
His injuries, Vinson said, included losing teeth and road rash. A spokeswoman with the hospital said Gant was in a stable condition.
Gant, who was traveling on a Suzuki GSX, will be cited for not having a motorcycle license, Vinson said. Further information about the wreck is pending investigation.
