6:30-9:30 a.m - Breeding beef and market swine check-in
7:30-9:30 a.m. - Foods/crafts check-in at Friar Ag Center
9-10:30 a.m - Commercial heifer show check-in, Friar Ag Center Show Barn (record books need to be turned in at this time)
Noon - Luncheon for homemaking judges
1-3:30 p.m. - Live judging for commercial heifers
1-4 p.m. - Judging of foods and craft projects
3:45 p.m. - Commercial heifer results given in Ag Center Show Arena
4 p.m. - Breeding beef heifer judging
6 p.m. - Market swine judging
7-9 p.m. - Homemaking show results and baked items go on sale
Thursday, March 6
8 a.m. - Homemaking entries go on display
7:30-9:30 a.m. - Steers, sheep, goat, rabbit and poultry projects official weigh-in
10 a.m. - Poultry judging
9-11 a.m. - Commercial heifer show interviews
3 p.m. - Goat judging followed by market lamb judging
6 p.m. - Commercial heifer sale via video
7 p.m. - Deadline for submitting resale bids. Bids will be opened at this time.
8 p.m. - Steer judging
6-9 p.m. - All homemaking food and project show must be picked up from Friar Ag Center homemaking department
Friday, March 7
8-9 a.m. - Non-selling animals check out
5 p.m. - Young farmer's social
7 p.m. - Pre-auction ceremonies followed by auction
Cuero Livestock Show royalty were named Saturday during the opening ceremony for the show at Friar Ag Center.
Denise Goebel, the DeWitt County 4-H coordinator, said 256 4-H and Future Farmers of America members will show 335 animals at the 65th annual livestock show.
She said 120 junior and senior exhibitors are participating in the project show, which consists of foods and craft competitions.
At 6 p.m. Wednesday, market animal judging begins with swine. Project show judging also begins Wednesday. Results will be available for the project show at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The auction will begin at 7 p.m. Friday.
