Editor, the Advocate:

Do you believe in limited government as provided for in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence? Do you believe that government should be fiscally responsible and balance the budget? Do you believe in self-determination and personal responsibility? Do you believe in getting involved in local civic matters? Do you believe that the ultimate measure of a man is his character, not his social status or the color of his skin? Do you believe that rules of conduct, such as the 10 Commandments and the Golden Rule, are essential in influencing and maintaining civility and order in our society?

If your response to all or most of the above inquiries is yes, then you could be considered a tea party type. The so-called tea party platform is basically comprised of the above. As you probably know, Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and most of the socialist establishment have publicly referred to tea party types as dangerous and extremists. This coming from a president whose Internal Revenue Service minions harassed conservative organizations prior to the last presidential election. This is the same regime that lied about "Obamacare" and Benghazi. This is the same regime that spied on innocent Americans. This is the same regime that promotes class warfare with policies favoring certain groups and demographics.

Now that you understand that tea party types are merely people who firmly believe in the principles that this country was founded on and are in essence true patriots, where do you stand? Have you been corrupted by the mainstream media to such an extent that you don't even know what a true patriot is? Apparently, a great many have. It should be readily apparent by now to any observant person that the real dangerous types are in Washington, D.C.
