Start spring off right with crafting in Goliad
The Goliad State Park and Historic Site will host spring break activities from Monday through Friday.
The fun kicks off Monday with making pinch pots, an ancient form of pottery.
Other activities throughout the week include butterfly drawing, practice roping, creating Native American games and making corn husk dolls.
The entry fee is $3 per adult, with children under 12 free. Texas State Parks Pass cardholders also enter for free.
The events are at Goliad Fannin Monument and Goliad State Park Hike and Bike Trail, 108 Park Road No. 6.

Painting classes offered at Gallery 313 Rio
The Gallery 313 Rio has started offering Come and Paint with Me classes throughout the week.
The classes are available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and canvas and paint is provided. Those enrolled in the course may also bring wine.
Gallery 313 Rio, at 313 Rio Grande St. in Victoria, has a Mommy and Me class from 4 to 5 p.m. daily for ages 5 and up. Fathers are also welcome.
Also offered are classes for people with special needs from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Adult classes are also available from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
