Letter writer is wrong to attack pastor

Editor, the Advocate:

I would like to commend Pastor Fisher on his sermon as well as his letter to the editor. I guess I didn't read his sermon like another letter writer did. I thought it was very good. I know Pastor Fisher, and he is a Christian. Preachers are supposed to teach God's word. I also didn't realize that God was a Republican or right-winger, and how does the letter writer know whether Pastor Fisher is?

I didn't see the letter writer's name mentioned in the sermon. Maybe her conscience is bothering her. Sometimes words hit too close to home, and people don't want to hear the truth. If you have doubts about the sermon, read the Bible. Then write a letter telling us where he messed up. I think the letter writer is labeling everyone who doesn't believe as she does as evil.

Every word that came from her was hate.
