Officials seek tips on truck's owner in arson case

Investigators are looking for this truck, which is wanted in connection to a Feb. 19 arson in the the 2400 block of Ozark Street. The vehicle is described as an older model small pickup with miscellaneous items in the bed.  The color has not been confirmed but is possibly blue or gray.

Investigators with the Victoria Fire Marshal's Office are seeking the public's help to identify a vehicle in connection with a case of arson in February.

Victoria Fire Department firefighters and fire marshal investigators responded to a house fire in the 2400 block of Ozark Street, according to a news release.

A neighbor, who saw smoke coming from the rear of the home, was able to extinguish the flames before any substantial amount of damage was sustained.

No injuries were reported, but officials believe arson to be the cause.

Desrick Johnson, 25, was arrested in connection to the fire Feb. 19 by the Victoria Fire Marshal's Office.

Investigators now need the public's help locating a vehicle believed to be involved in the case.

The vehicle is described as an older model small pickup with miscellaneous items in the bed. The color has not been confirmed but is possibly blue or gray, according to a news release.
