Judges need to keep DWI offenders off streets

Editor, the Advocate:

Has anyone else out there noticed that in the Police and Courts column in the Advocate how many of the daily offenders were on probation? A very large percentage. What is wrong with this picture?

Recently, a three-time-plus offender for driving under the influence was involved in a wreck where the other party was killed. Every day, there are these DWIs listed as third offenders-plus. This is ridiculous. What is wrong with our judicial system?

Come on, judges - keep these people off our streets and behind bars where they belong.
