Laura Lindsey Wade of Victoria and Clayton Emory Thompson of San Antonio were married at 3 p.m. on March 1, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Victoria. Father George Henninger officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Robbie Wade of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Dorothy Barnett of Victoria, and Agnes and the late Henry Wade of Victoria.
The groom is the son of Bill and Lisa Thompson of Bryan. He is the grandson of Asa and Sue Ellis of Arlington, and Margot Thompson and the late William Thompson of Dripping Springs.
Jenny and Amy Wade of Victoria, sisters of the bride, both attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Wade of Austin, Sarah Wade of Austin, Lauren Kuecker of College Station and Amy Thompson of College Station.
Garrett Thompson of College Station served as best man. Groomsmen were Austin Jones of Spring, Doug Doucette of Houston, Sam Hogue of College Station, Frank Baird of Houston and Steven Keto of Sugarland.
Ushers were Mitch Rider and Brent Jemelka, both of Victoria.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Raisin L Ranch. The couple spent their honeymoon at St. Lucia. They plan to reside in San Antonio.
The bride is a 2012 graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Management.
The groom is a 2011 graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree in Bioenvironmental Science. He is currently employed by Halliburton.
