Best Hamburger: Dairy Treet

Best Hamburger:

Dairy Treet

If you ask a Dairy Treet customer why they love the burgers, they'll all say the same thing, "they're fresh."

The people of the Crossroads agree. Dairy Treet was once again named best hamburger in the Advocate's 2014 Best of the Best competition.

Manager Irma Perez said it is because they grind their own ground beef daily. The mix, she said, is a secret. In fact, she said mostly everything is made fresh, including the ice cream, chili, corn dogs and tartar sauce.

As for the most popular burger, she said the double meat, double cheese is a winner. If

you're up to something a little spicy, she said the jalapeno burger is a close second.
