The Advocate wants to correct promptly any error in fact or clarify any misleading information we publish. To report any error or need for clarification, please call 361-574-1222.• Police think Joseph Andrew DiRuzzo and Timothy McMahan, who are charged with illegally practicing medicine, held appointments in places around Victoria, including in a building behind Grace Funeral Home. That location was incorrectly referred to in a story on Page A1 on Saturday.

• Dillard's was named the best shoe store in The Advocate's recent "Best of the Best" contest. The Shoe Department and Academy Sports and Outdoors tied for first runner-up, and Cavender's Boot City was the second runner-up. The story was left out of the category on Page 73 of Sunday's "Best of the Best" section.

• On Page 25 of the same section, Jose and Gloria Calvo were left out of the story for Best Janitorial Service. They, along with Arthur and Roxanne Calvo, own Calvo Janitorial Services.
