Victoria man arrested on Calhoun County kidnapping charges

A Victoria man accused of kidnapping a Calhoun County family was arrested Friday.
Victoria County Sheriff's deputies arrested Oscar Jimenez, 48, on three Calhoun County warrants charging him with aggravated kidnapping-terrorize and three Calhoun County warrants charging him with interfering with an emergency call.
The warrants were issued by Calhoun County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, Hope Kurtz.
Bond for the kidnapping charges was set at $65,000, each.
For the interfering with an emergency call charges, bond was set at $2,500, according the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.
Jimenez was in the Victoria County Jail on Monday night.
When reached after 5 p.m. Monday, Calhoun County Sheriff George Aleman said he didn't have the information about the case in front of him because had already left the office for the day.
