Catholic Daughters, Court St. Ann No. 369 elects officers
Catholic Daughters, Court St. Ann No. 369 had its monthly meeting May 5 at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Regent Kathryn Ormsby presided.
Thank-you notes from the Gabriel Project and Bishop David E. Fellhauer were read. It was announced that scholarships will be awarded at the next regular meeting scheduled for June 2.
Sandra Genoway thanked members that handled the nursing home bingo in April. She also shared that 69 members and guests attended senior fun day April 29. The next senior fun day is scheduled for July 29.
Two baskets were donated to Holy Family Catholic Church for their annual festival. Ormsby thanked members that contributed basket items.
A multidistrict meeting will be May 31 in Houston. District deputy No. 34 Joan Schramek asked those interested in attending to contact her.
The court elected the following officers for a two-year term: Orsmby, regent; Donna Mueller, vice regent; Claudia Schoener, recording secretary; Sue Schaefer, financial secretary; and Bernice Fabian, treasurer.
The Rev. George Henninger led the closing prayer. Hostesses for the evening were Patty Schaar, Jennifer Shellenbarger, Sue Ann Cotton and Sara Ratcliff.
