City of Victoria workers praised for excellent work

Editor, the Advocate:

I would like to thank our city of Victoria employees for their excellent work, once again, in helping us bring the exhibit of quilts in the library to the people of the area.

Robert Faz, Henry Chennalt and Jesse Cantu met several members of the Quilt Guild of Greater Victoria at 5 a.m. April 29 so they could put the quilts up on the walls before the library opened. They, along with Kim Siebrands, our liaison with the library, cheerfully and efficiently installed the quilts.

I encourage all who read this to take the opportunity the next time you see a city or county worker to thank them for their service to all of us.

-- Maureen Sharp, Quilt Guild of Greater Victoria, library exhibit chairwoman, Victoria
