Stranded

VICTORIA - A prison bus, carrying 34 inmates headed to the Darrington Unit in Rosharon broke down in Victoria at 10:30 a.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 59 and Loop 463, according to Jason Clark, public information director for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Public Information Office in Huntsville. Law enforcement responded to secure the area, and at 12:10 p.m., the prisoners were transferred to another bus.

Wrecked

VICTORIA - One person was hospitalized after a vehicle traveling east in the 1400 block of Port Lavaca Drive collided with a vehicle traveling north in the 200 block of North Laurent Street on Saturday.

Arrested

VICTORIA - A 24-year-old Houston woman by troopers on Friday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams.

VICTORIA - A 40-year-old Donna man by deputies on Friday on suspicion of possession of marijuana between 5 and 50 pounds.

VICTORIA - Chaz Ryan Johnson, 20, of Victoria, by deputies on Friday on a warrant charging him with violation of probation in a burglary of a habitation case.

VICTORIA - Sylvia Ann Riojas, 40, of Victoria, by deputies on Friday on warrants charging her with theft of a firearm, credit card or debit card abuse of the elderly and theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000.

VICTORIA - A 21-year-old Victoria man by officers on Saturday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance less than or about 2 ounces.

VICTORIA - A 47-year-old Victoria woman by officers on Saturday on suspicion of theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions.

VICTORIA - A 17-year-old Victoria man by officers on Saturday on suspicion of theft of property between $50 and $500.

VICTORIA - A 22-year-old Victoria woman on Monday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury of a family member.

VICTORIA - Jose Martin Rodriguez, 49, of Donna, by officers on Monday on a Montgomery County warrant charging him with abandon or endanger child, criminal negligence.

VICTORIA - A 31-year-old non-resident man at a bar in the 1900 block of North Ben Wilson Street on Sunday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A 2008 Chevrolet Uplander at a home in the 300 block of South Bridge Street on Friday. Three thumb drivers, valued at $60 together, an LG cell phone, valued at $150, a backpack, valued at $20, various makeup, valued at $40, 30 Clonazepam pills, valued at $60 together, 34 Adderall pills, valued at $68 together, were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2013 white Volkswagen Jetta at a home in the 1900 block of Melrose Avenue on Friday. Computer hardware/software, valued at $200, and 20 Hydrocodone pills, valued at $16.99 together, were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 800 block of North Depot Street on Friday. A Sony PlayStation 4, valued at $400, a Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless, valued at $60, two Microsoft Xbox 360, valued at $400 together, seven Xbox 360 game discs, valued at $60, an Apple iPad, valued at $500, a Dell Inspiron, valued at $300, an Element Electro 40-inch flat screen, valued at $160, an Apple iPhone 5s, valued at $600, two Beats by Dre headphones, valued at $300, and a Samsung Galaxy S4, valued at $500, were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2006 gray Volkswagen Jetta in a parking lot in the 7800 block of North Navarro Street on Friday. A small purse, valued at $20, a Target store card, valued at $1, a Texas driver's license, valued at $1, and $20 in cash were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 500 block of Santa Fe Drive on Friday. A pressure washer, valued at $300, was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2006 silver Mazda M3 and a 2008 gray Buick Enclave at a home in the 3500 block of Morningside Street on Friday. A red Steve Madden purse, valued at $250, a Guess leather wallet, valued at $125, a Sears blue credit card, a Sears master card, a Wells Fargo debit card, a Texas Visa debit card, a Target credit card, a Kohl's credit card, a Dillard's credit card, a Dillard's American Express and a JC Penney credit card, a driver's license and a Social Security card were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 1997 red Ford Mustang and a 1997 gray Chevrolet Silverado at a home in the 3500 block of Morningside Street on Friday. A Guess purse, valued at $12, two Texas driver's license, valued at $25 each, a small wallet, valued at $5, three Social Security cards, valued at $2 each, four credit/debit cards, valued at $2 each, a drill, valued at $1,000, a checkered wallet, valued at $30, and $30 in cash were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2001 white Dodge Durango in the 2800 block of Algie Street on Sunday. A black leather purse, valued at $50, a chocolate diamond ring, valued at $1,600, and a Pioneer car stereo, valued at $200, were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2000 brown Chevrolet S10 in the 200 block of Marvelle Street on Sunday. Miscellaneous tools, valued at $300, and an unknown brand generator, valued at $1,200, were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2007 black Chevroelt 1500 in the 9000 block of North Navarro Street on Sunday. No items were reported missing. The door lock was damaged. The damage was valued at $300.

Stolen

VICTORIA - An aluminum rim, valued at $60, of a gold 2005 Chevrolet Malibu at a home in the 2100 block of Allendale Street on Wednesday.

VICTORIA - A 2007 white Dodge 1500, valued at $5,000, a 2014 Kawa Brute Force, valued at $10,000, a 2012 black Kawa Brute Force, valued at $10,000 and vehicle parts and accessories, valued at $500, from an office in the 100 block of West Crestwood Drive on Wednesday.

VICTORIA - Seven credit/debit cards were used at a bar in the 1900 block of East Red River Street on Thursday.

VICTORIA - A Sprint cell phone bill, valued at $400, from a home in the 300 block of Kelly Drive on Friday.

VICTORIA - Eight payroll checks, valued at $3,205.28, from a restaurant in the 7600 block of Northeast Zac Lentz Parkway on Friday.

VICTORIA - A Coach wallet, valued at $40, a debit card, a child support card and $100 in cash from the 3400 block of North Laurent Street on Friday.

VICTORIA - Merchandise, valued at $137.60, from a grocery store in the 6100 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. The merchandise was later recovered.

VICTORIA - A leather wallet, valued at $20, a Social Security card and a Texas driver's license from a store in the 300 block of South Bridge Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - Six rings, valued at $5,500, from a home in the 100 block of Larimore Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A window pane at a restaurant in the 5400 block of North Navarro Street on Friday. The damage was valued at $500.

VICTORIA - An ATM machine at a bank in the 2700 block of Sam Houston Drive on Friday. The damage was valued at $1,200.

VICTORIA - The four tires on a 2012 silver Dodge Avenger in a parking lot in the 2700 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. The damage was valued at $200.

VICTORIA - The windows of a 2002 white Ford F-250 in the 200 block of Ridgewood Drive on Saturday. The damage was valued at $250.

VICTORIA - A sign in the 100 block of Parkstone Drive on Saturday. The damage was valued at $300.

VICTORIA - An ATM encrypted keypad at a bank in the 10400 block of Northeast Zac Lentz Parkway on Saturday. The damage was valued at $2,000.
