President ignores Constitution, points finger
Editor, the Advocate:
It's about time to blow off a little steam, once again, about the present administration and liberal members of the Senate.
Our president keeps spouting off about the Congress, especially the House, doing nothing. It's a fact that Congress has tried working with him, but he won't budge an inch. Everything has to be his way or no way. Some of the things he puts into law by executive order probably aren't constitutional, but that doesn't seem to bother him.
Even though Obama took an oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the country, he is constantly trying to take away our rights and liberties. This is especially evident in his attacks on the first and second amendments. He is a hypocrite when it comes to following our Constitution. He speaks to groups, especially veterans of all wars, and praises their sacrifices to preserve our freedoms and those of other countries. Then on the other hand, he and the other liberals in Congress and his cohorts, such as George Soros and ex-mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City, are using their deep pockets to undermine our freedom.
It seems a Democrat can get away with anything, lawful or not. They think nothing of lying before Congress to cover their tracks. A good example of this is former president Bill Clinton. What could have been more embarrassing for our country than what he did? And yet he is still thought of as a god. And, yes, Richard Nixon, a Republican, was forced to resign because he lied to Congress.
