Let's Do This: Mixology Report

Strawberry hard lemonade and spiked southern ice tea are refreshing drinks for hot, humid summer months.

Strawberry Lemonade

• 1 cup strawberry-flavored rum

• 1/2 cup vodka

• 18 ounces Country Time Strawberry Lemonade drink mix

• Fresh strawberries

• 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

• Fresh mint leaves

• Sliced fresh lemon

Mix it: Follow the directions to mix the Country Time Lemonade and put aside in a pitcher. Pour in flavored rum, vodka and lemon juice. Stir well. Add fresh cut strawberries and a handful of mint leaves to the mixture. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour. Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon circles.

Real Southern iced tea

• 1/2 cup sugar or sugar substitute

• 5-6 cups water

• 1 can lemonade concentrate, thawed

• 2-4 tea cold brew bags

• 1 cup bourbon or spiced dark rum

• Lemon slices

• Fresh mint

Mix it: Mix tea bags with 3 cups cold water and set aside in a pitcher. Once brewed, remove tea bags. Add sugar and lemonade concentrate with 2-3 more cups water, as desired and stir. Add bourbon or rum.

Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint.
