A Trophy Club, Texas man died after a pickup truck turned in front of his motorcycle Friday night.

Randall Stuart, 53, was driving a 2001 Harley Davidson Fat Boy north on Farm-to-Market Road 236 in Mission Valley when a 1998 Ford F-150 turned left in front of him, a Department of Public Safety in dispatcher in Corpus Christi said, reading from the report.

Russell James Krause from Yorktown was driving the pickup truck and slowed to make a left turn into a parking lot around 5:37 p.m., the report stated. The driver told troopers he didn’t see any oncoming traffic and proceeded to turn.

Stuart slammed on his brakes, but the motorcycle slid on its side and collided with the pickup, the report stated. He was airlifted to Citizens Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6 p.m.

Krause was not injured.
