Four area funeral directors help with Hurricane Ike relief

Four Victoria-area funeral directors recently went to Beaumont to assist funeral homes damaged by Hurricane Ike.They joined other funeral directors from around the state who answered a call for assistance from the Texas Funeral Directors Association Disaster Relief Team.
They operated a temporary morgue while the area's funeral home owners and employees worked to get their businesses cleaned up and operational.
Assisting were Adrian Fulton from Victoria Mortuary Service, Brain Romanowski from Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna, Gary Cooper from Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum and David McCoskey from Hubbard Funeral Home in Weimer.
