ROCKPORT – Love the coast? Love seafood? Then are you going to have fun this weekend. The 2008 Rockport Seafair begins today and lasts through Sunday.
It is filled with entertainment. The highlights of the festival include crab races, boat show, parade, “no rules” gumbo cookoff, chef cooking demonstrations, live music shows and a large market vendor featuring arts, crafts and antiques, according to a festival news release.
Tickets are $5 for adults on Friday and Sunday; and $7 for adults on Saturday. Pre-sale wristbands are $10 and are good for all three days. Tickets for children ages 6-12 are $2.
