The American Meat Goat Association is conducting its Fifth Buck Range test, which is primarily a forage based performance test.

It is open to all breeds of goats, as well as all producers.

This year the American Meat Goat Association reached a tentative agreement to lease 150 acres of improved rangeland in South Texas.

The test begins Nov. 1 and runs for 200 days, with weights of the goats taken at 50-day intervals.
