BREADTH OF HOPEA documentary presented by the Victoria Advocate
A documentary presented by the Victoria Advocate
The Victoria Advocate explores the power of hope through a series called "A Father's Strength" and through a feature film, "Breadth of Hope," on Fox and two other families struck by the disease. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, usually kills within about two to five years.
The disease is particularly cruel because its victims' minds have a ringside seat to the fight their bodies inevitably lose. From the Foxes and the other families, though, we learn truths about childhood and fatherhood, about family and faith, and about love and hope.
