PORT LAVACA - Adrian DeShae "Pookie" Wilson, 24, of Port Lavaca, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born April 26, 1986, in Port Lavaca, to Fredrick Campbell and Cheryl Wilson, both of Port Lavaca. He was a hydroblaster for K-MAC and was a Pentecostal.
He is survived by his parents; wife, Sasha Medina-Wilson; daughter, Anaya Medina-Wilson of Port Lavaca; sister, Juanita Wilson Frenchwood of Port Lavaca; brother, Sidney Wilson of Houston; grandparents, Marian Thompson Wilson of Houston, Cynthia Castaneda-Medina of Port Lavaca, Juan Medina of Port Lavaca, and Fannie Mae Abbott of Van Vleck; special aunts, Cynthia Campbell of Corpus Christi and Juanita Cunningham of Port Lavaca.
Visitation and wake service will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010, at Temple of Faith in Port Lavaca. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Temple of Faith in Port Lavaca with Eulogist Bishop David Sanders Sr. and Co-Pastor Judy Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jason "Tre" Johnson, Juan Medina Jr., Billy Stinson, DeShawn Stinson, Rial Wilson, Gary Grogans, Gloss Martin, and B.J. Macedo.
