EDWARD E. BRZOZOWSKI
YOAKUM - Edward E. Brzozowski, age 92, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born July 1, 1920, in Ganado, to Edward Thomas Brzozowski and Mary Skrobarczyk Brzozowski.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and received a purple heart. He was a member of VFW, DAV, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
He was a retired Seismographic Observer from the State Geophysical Corp, as an operator of recording equipment.
Survivors: sisters, Joyce Brewer of Yoakum, Judy O'Connor of San Antonio and brother, Berney Brzozowski of Yoakum.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edward Thomas Brzozowski and Mary Skrobarczyk Brzozowski; wife, Willie Mae Brzozowski; sister, Albina Lesak, and brother, Frank T. Brzozowski.
Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.
Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Friday at St Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Entombment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Mausoleum.
Pallbearers: Wesley Marsh, Tom DeBerry, Patrick Brewer, Duane Brewer, Tim Brewer and Louis Fleckenstein.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School or donor's choice.
