DANIEL RUSSELL GOLDEN
VICTORIA- Daniel Russell Golden, 81, of Victoria passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He was born April 15, 1931, in Hollister, Oklahoma, to the late Mack and Agnes Mansell Golden. He owned and operated Horvath Electric for many years. He served his country in the United States Air Force, and he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Horvath Golden of Victoria; daughters, Teresa Hulsey, Lisa Stoeltje and husband, Carl, all of Victoria, and Melicia Johnson and husband, Craig of San Antonio; son, Gary Golden and wife, Meredith of Victoria; sister, Grace Langford of Independence, Missouri; brothers, Lloyd Golden of Bowie and Monte Golden of Ruidosa, New Mexico; grandchildren, Scott Smith, Blake Mead, Cole Johnson, Melia Johnson, Tiffany Zanders, Austin Davenport and Dave Davenport; great-grandchildren, Brenae McCloud, Fredrick Zanders, Anali Delgado, Avery Mead and Abigail Mead.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandsons, Jay Davenport, Timothy Ideus and great-grandson, Brody Zanders.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. Barney Matocha officiating.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
