CHARLES EDWARD WEST
REFUGIO - Charles Edward West, 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was born November 29, 1924 in New Castle to the late Alvin H. West and Mina Hardin West. He was a Deacon in the First Baptist Church of Refugio, a Veteran of WWII and a life member of the Refugio Masonic Lodge 190 and also a Al-Amin Shrine member.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Wila Sue "Mickey" West.
Survivors include a son Chuck West of Aransas Pass ; daughter, M. Sue West of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Bill West of Roseburg,Ore. and Hubert West of Mt. Carmel, Ill; sister, Marge West Miller of Susanville, Calif.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
There will be Private Services held at a later date.
