ROBERT "BOB" MIORI
NEW BRAUNFELS - Robert "Bob" Miori, 93, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013. He was born May 24, 1919 to Joe and Rosie Magnia Miori.
Bob is survived by his son Mike and wife Jannis of New Braunfels; grandchildren Gina of Reston, VA; Michael and wife Holly of Bedford, TX; Jason and wife Amy of Pittsburg, KS; great-grandchildren Isabelle Kaitlyn and Trenton Michael Miori of Bedford, TX.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Gladys and his eight siblings.
Bob graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1937, served his country in the Air Force for four years, was a life-long member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus #1329. He enjoyed playing baseball for the Victoria Rosebuds and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from the oilfield as a production superintendent.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Grace Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady of Lourdes or St. Joseph High School.
