ROBERT L. "JET" JACKSON
VICTORIA - Robert L. "Jet" Jackson, 77, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013. He was born on August 25, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Phillip T. and Alma Schwartz Jackson.
Robert attended Bishop Hogan and St. Agnes High Schools. After graduation in 1952, he entered the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller and continued on with the Federal Aviation Agency, retiring in December of 1984. After retiring, Robert was able to spend time doing what the loved, playing golf and fishing. He also loved his K-9 friend, Cami.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Jeff) Janecek of Victoria; son, Robert J. (Aimee) Jackson of Chico, California; sister, Nancy Rollheiser of Shawnee, Kansas; brothers, Phillip D. Jackson of Leewood, Kansas, and Joseph T. Jackson of Mission, Kansas; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Dickinson, Will (Kassi) Janecek, Wesley (Kristin) Janecek; great grandchildren, Blake Dickinson and Alyssa Keely Bates.
Funeral services will be private.
