EPIMENIA "EPPIE" FLORES
VICTORIA - Epimenia "Eppie" Flores, 77, of Victoria passed away February 10, 2013. She was born August 22, 1935 in Ramirez, Texas to the late Abel and Herminia Chapa Pena. Eppie was a proud housewife and a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.
She is survived by her husband Santiago "Jim" Flores of Victoria; daughters Amelia (Amy) Cantu and husband Danny of Edinburg and Selina Reyna and husband Robert of Victoria; son Adrian Flores of Austin; sister Baudilia "Lila" Schaefer and Cristela (Cris) Bryand both of Victoria; grandchildren Nathaniel and Jonathan Cantu, Iliana Reyna, Anastasia (Annie) and Elliot Flores.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Leovardo, Ovidio, Genovevo and Edelmiro Pena.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013, with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Victoria, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be at 2 PM Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, Victoria, Texas, with Father Michael Rother officiating.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Abel Alvarez, Guadalupe "Lupe" Solis, Robert Reyna, Adrian Flores, Nathaniel Cantu, Jonathan Cantu, Elliot Flores and Danny T. Cantu.
