YOAKUM - Viola Hajek, age 92, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013.
She was born in Koerth, TX on December 14, 1920 to Joseph Frazer and Minnie Clark Frazer.
She was a housewife and a member of St Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors: daughter, Pamela R. Jones of Victoria; sons, James A. Hrabovsky and Ervin A. Hajek both of Yoakum; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Bernice McConnell of Lubbock, Mildred Gregory of Tucson, AZ, and Ruby Coker of Cuero.
Preceded in death by: parents; 1st husband, Laddie J. Hrabovsky; 2nd husband, Adolph V. Hajek; daughters, Shirley Sargent and Betty Jean Hajek; sister, Dorothy Evans Downs; brothers, Arthur "Jack" Frazer and Alvin Frazer; grandchildren, Heath Dayne Farmer and Jordan LaRay Hurley.
Visitation on Wednesday: 6-8 PM. at the funeral home.
Funeral Service on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sonnier officiating. Burial at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetary.
Pallbearers: Jeff Frazer, Harlan Frazer, Garland Frazer, Charlie Bartos, Edward Koncaba, and Braden Frazer.
