CAROLINA HERNANDEZ
VICTORIA - Carolina Licerio Hernandez, 69, of Victoria, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013. She was born March 22, 1943 in Bloomington, to the late Lucio Licerio, Sr. and Maria Luna Licerio. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.
Carolina is survived by her daughter Sylvia Ann Benavidez of Victoria; sons, CSM Juan V. Benavidez Jr. (Tila) of Victoria, Charles Odis (Belinda) of Victoria; sisters, Leonor L. Hernandez of Victoria, Angelita L. Garcia of Victoria, Maria L. Tejeda of Telferner; brothers, Cerilo Licerio Sr. of Victoria, Ernesto Licerio, Sr. of Guadalupe, and Emilio Licerio Jr. of Victoria; 10 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carolina is preceded in death by her son Sammy Dale Odis Sr.; sisters, Juanita Trevino, Modesta L. Villarreal, and Guadalupe Ysaguirre; brothers, Lucio Licerio and Pedro Licerio Sr.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, February21, 2013 with the Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis Benavidez, Johnny J. Benavidez, Brandon M. Benavidez, Benito Torres, Robert Gomez, and Thomas Canales Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Cerilo Licerio Sr., Ernesto Licerio Sr., Emilio Licerio Sr., Sammy Odis Jr., Ronald Trevino Jr., Xavier Noregia, Augustine Gonzales, and George Mejia.
