JOYCE F. KRIEWALD
HONDO - Joyce Fuhrman Kriewald, age 80, of Hondo passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20. Born July 13, 1932, in Victoria, she was the daughter of Emil B. and Selma (Mueller) Fuhrman. A loving homemaker, she was active in her church, Friends of the Hondo Public Library, and a member of Texas Farm Bureau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Kriewald; sister, Evelyn Ideus; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Kriewald; and grandson, Justin Kriewald.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Miles and husband Larry of Nixon; son, Glen Kriewald of Hondo; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and brother, Leslie Fuhrman of Inez.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 21, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 22, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
