NETTIE MAHAN COOK
SAN ANTONIO - Nettie Mahan Cook, age 87, of San Antonio, died February 18, 2013. She was born in Pandora, Texas on July 23, 1925.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph C. and Melva (West) Mahan; her husband, Alton B. Cook; two brothers: Coyle Mahan and Bill Mahan; and two sisters: Mary Richard and Milly Harvey.
Nettie is survived by her daughters: Lydia Machac and husband Doug of Houston; Kay Cook Perez and husband David of Universal City; five grandchildren: Lori Hockley, Chris Perez, Stephanie King, Melanie Young, Meredith Kalbus; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other loving relatives and many friends.
Viewing and visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, from 2 PM - 3 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Nixon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the charity of one's choice.
