ALLEN M. DARE
HUNTSVILLE - Allen Dare, 61, was born March 3, 1951 in Port Lavaca to Jean Boyd & Rodney A. Hargrove. He was later adopted by his stepfather, Ernest Dare. He departed from this world on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.
Allen initially worked for Alcoa and later received his certification to become a Paramedic. He worked
as a Paramedic for the City of Victoria, City of Austin and Calhoun County.
Allen is survived by his mother, Jean Boyd; daughter, Tracy Dare (Bob); son, Alexander (Macky) Dare; daughter, Fallon Dare; son, Cody Wilkerson; granddaughter, Chloe Franco; and grandson, Mason Dare. He also left behind his sisters, Kerri Boyd, Donna Maverick, (James) Gloria Goyen, (Ty), Johnnie Nichols; brother, Mike Dare; along with 6 nieces, 6 nephews, 6 great-nieces, and 7 great nephews.
Allen is preceded in death by his Fathers, Rodney A. Hargrove and Ernest Dare; his grandparents, Clara Mae Boyd, Alexander (Mac) Boyd, Thomas Hargrove and Jewel Hargrove.
Memorial Service will be held at Grace Parish Episcopal Church in Port Lavaca on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10 a.m.
