CHARLES FRANKLIN MONROE
POTH - Charles "Chuck" Franklin Monroe, longtime resident of Poth, Texas, entered eternal rest Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the age of 86.
Chuck was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Grier Monroe.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lucille Kern Monroe of Poth; children, Patricia Kainer (Harvey) of Runge, and Janice Monroe of San Antonio; and step-children, Dennis Kern (Joyce), and Diane Davis, both of San Antonio.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Vinyard Funeral Home, Poth. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Poth, followed by interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
