MONTGOMERY - Clyde Elvin Miller, age 91 of Montgomery and formerly of Yoakum, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013.
He was born on November 6, 1921 in Yoakum to Grant and Lilly Rush Miller.
He was a operator for Shell Oil Company. He was a Methodist and served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II and was with the Merrill's Marauders-75th Ranger Regiment having received two Bronze Stars.
Survivors: daughters, Pamela Miller of Montgomery and Kim McDonald of Victoria; grandchildren, Aaron, Travis, Brandon, Samantha, Nicholas, Ally, Diamond, Taren and Dakota; great-grandchild, Neollan.
Preceded in death by: wife, Helen Miller and two brothers, Kenneth Miller and Raymond Miller.
Visitiation on Thursday from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service on Friday at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Yoakum with Rev. Jay McCurry officiating. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
