AMELIA GUERRERO SALINAS
YORKTOWN - Amelia Guerrero Salinas, 83, of Yorktown, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013. She was born in DeWitt County to the late Antonio and Daria Aleman Guerrero on June 28, 1929.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Salinas of Yorktown, Diana Banda of Corpus Christi, and Mary Lou Vela of Yorktown; brother, Miguel Guerrero of Levelland, TX; grandchildren, Courtney Banda, Corey Banda, Jesse Vela, Edward Vela, Freddy Aguero, Kimberly Aguero, Christina Aguero and Rebecca Zapata; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lolo Salinas; daughter, Sylvia Salinas; son, Mateo Aguero; and sisters, Rumala Chavana, Margarita Tellez, Eluteria Canales, and Gabriella Pena.
Visitation begins at 10 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 with a rosary at 7 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Mass will be 1 PM, Monday, January 7, 2013 at San Luis Catholic Church. Interment will be in San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Masses.
