SAN ANTONIO - Michael Phillip Mills, 66, of San Antonio passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He was born September 6, 1946 in Yorktown to the late Jesse and Elsie Heil Mills.
He was a member of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, E7. He was a Vietnam War Veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Heil Mills; daughter, Traci Mills-Frank and husband, Robert, of San Antonio; son, Michael P. Mills, Jr. and wife, Monica, of Floresville; sisters, Linda Mauldin and husband, Harvey, of Cuero, Marie McElroy and husband, Robert, of Bellevue, and Jennifer Hudgeons and husband, John, of Cuero; brother, Jeffrey Mills and wife, Reatta, of Houston; grandchildren, Michael C. Mills of Floresville, Tyler R. Mills-Frank of San Antonio, and Matthew J. Mills of Floresville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Mills and sister, Martha "Tudy" Zaiontz and husband, Gene.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
