ALFREDO G. ANZALDUA SR.
YOAKUM - Alfredo G. Anzaldua, Sr., age 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
He was born on August 15, 1921 in Inez to Ramon and Lucinda Garza Anzaldua.
He was a farm laborer and served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II.
Survivors: wife, Gregoria Garcia Anzaldua of Yoakum; daughters, Aurora Matamoros and husband Carlos of Channelview, Amelia Sainz and husband Pat of Weimar and Celia Martinez and husband Rick of Wharton; sons, Charlie Anzaldua and wife Delia of Spring, Albert Anzaldua and wife Vera of Yoakum and Ramon Anzaldua and wife Esther of Houston; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: sons, Alfredo Anzaldua, Jr., Jose Anzaldua; grandson, Gabriel Anzaldua and several sisters and brothers.
Funeral service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Ramiro Ramirez officiating.
