J.H. LANDRY JR.
YOAKUM - J.H. Landry, Jr., age 88, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
He was born on July 15, 1924 in Yoakum to J.H. Landry, Sr. and Kittye Vick Landry.
He was a rancher in Lavaca County. He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II aboard the U.S.S. San Bernadino.
Survivors: wife and soulmate of 35 and a half years, Judy Mae Vasina Landry; daughters, Lisa Lampley and husband Dudley of Victoria, B.J. DeBord and husband Ronnie of Edna; son, Billy White and wife Rhonda of Yoakum; daughters, Vickye A. Banner and Rosana Huges both of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Kittye Beck, Kristye Brown, Casey Brown, Todd DeBord; cousin, Leanne VanDyke Wilden of Yoakum and a great-niece, Dianne Appling of El Campo.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Family visitation from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Bowden officiating. Burial at Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Casey Brown, Todd DeBord, Wesley DeBord, Wesley Heimann, Kevin Till, Ronnie Leopold and Bryan Seaman. Honorary pallbearers: Kittye Beck, Brad Beck, Kristye Brown, Kevin Arnold and Mollie Webel.
