DARRYL RUSS HINDS
PORT LAVACA- Darryl Russ Hinds, 55, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 21, 2013.
Russ was born February 9th, 1957 in Port Lavaca, TX to Don and Doris (Blake) Hinds. He attended Port Lavaca schools and graduated from Calhoun High School in 1976. He also attended Texas State Technical College in Waco. When not working in the auto parts business, he enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing.
His maternal grandparents, Floyd and Annie Lee Blake, and paternal grandmother, Altha Swain, preceeded him in death.
Survivors are his parents, older brother Don, Jr. of McGregor, TX and younger brother Douglas of Seadrift, TX.
He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and plenty of cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity in Russ's name.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date.
