ESTELL WADE FINLAY
VICTORIA - Estell Wade Finlay, 89, of Victoria, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born May 20, 1923 to the late Elvin Wade and Mammie Haynes Griffin. She was a retired domestic and a Baptist.
She is survived by her step-sons, George Phillip Finlay Jr. and James Finlay, both of Goliad; and 4 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Finlay; sisters, Olivia Branch and Pearl Langley; and brothers, Issac Wade, Horace Wade, and Elmer Wade.
Walk-in visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Barefield Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2013. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Rev. A.L. Prince as officiating minister, on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Interment will be at Cannan Hill Cemetery.
