MARTIN HYSQUIERDO SR.
PORT LAVACA - Martin Hysquierdo Sr., 50, of Port Lavaca, passed away on Monday, Jnauary 21, 2013. He was born June 1, 1962 in Victoria to the late Guadalupe V. and Cecilia Trevino Hysquierdo. He was a truck driver and a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Maseda Hysquierdo; daughters, Cynthia Bernal (Eddie) of Highlands, Roberta Hysquierdo of Port Lavaca, and Tommie Trevino (Justin) of Port Lavaca; sons, Martin Hysquierdo Jr. (Rae Anna) and Jeremy Hysquierdo, both of Port Lavaca; sister, Janie Laguna (Francisco P.) of Victoria; brothers, Lupe Hysquierdo Jr. (Abby), Simon Hysquierdo (Patsy), and Arthur Hysquierdo, all of Victoria; and 7 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lupita Arroyo.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Artero Memorial Chapels. Visitation will resume from 9 - 10 a.m. before a funeral service officiated by Br. Ray Vargas at 10 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, Port Lavaca, on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Burial will be at Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Angel Hysquierdo, Jorge Hysquierdo, Jonny Ray Maseda, Andy Pizana Jr., Arthur Maseda Jr., Ernest Maseda, Robert Parker, and Jaime Hysquierdo. Honorary pallbearers: Jaime Hysquierdo, Marcus Martinez, Jimmy Ray Maseda Jr., and Joseph Parker.
