VICTORIA - Bobby Cantu, 34, of Victoria was called Home to be our Angel Man, January 21, 2013. He was born on August 7th 1978 in San Benito, Texas to Adelmiro Cantu and Connie Molder.
Bobby was the most compassionate, loving, loyal, amazing man with a passion for family like no other. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, golf, wood working, and especially NASCAR. He was deep in his faith and had an amazing relationship with God. His "Crew of Brothers" meant the world to him. He loved his job and all of his "INEOS Family". His son Nicolas was his absolute greatest joy in life. He strived everyday to make his son proud and to teach him values of what it takes to be a man... How to hunt, how to fish, and most importantly how to love.
Bobby leaves behind a son, Nicolas Cantu; his parents, Adelmiro "Chubby" Cantu and mother Connie and Robert Mead; his brother, Charlie Cantu with wife Holly and their children Coen and Claire; his brother, Blake Mead and wife Marissa and their children Avery and Abby; his sister, Brianna Hammond and her husband Rob; his brother, Shane Higdon; his beloved fiancé, Cortney Davis, along with Colter and Jade Davis; and his grandparents, Bobby Glenn and Jolene "Memaw" Molder. Bobby also has a slew of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Angel and Aurora Cantu.
Please join us in Celebration of his life on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Parkway Baptist Church at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be held with the family on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Parkway Baptist Church from 6:30-8:00 P.M.
