CUERO - Vangie Samuel, 34, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. She was born April 12, 1978 in Victoria to Alfred Muniz and Juanita Gamez Morales. She was a devoted mother. She worked as a medical aide and dietician.
She is survived by her parents, Alfred Muniz and Juanita and Ruben Morales of Cuero; daughters, Halimarie Samuel, Hanna Samuel, and Zoey Sembrera all of Cuero; son, Zechariah Sembrera of Cuero; sisters, Stephanie Rodriguez and husband, Michael, of Cuero, Sandra Ramone of Bloomington, and Peggy Muniz of Victoria; and brother, Mario Gamez and wife, Julie.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Muniz.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 for 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jesse Gamez, Jacob Rodriguez, Aran Rodriguez, Danny Ortiz, Derek Sembrera, Joey Gamez, Sean Samuel, and Johnny Ray Zapata.
